How Long Until Results Start Showing???

The answer is simple...depends on how hard your working.

Most people think they can go in to the gym and do a little cardio, do a little resistance training and make a little change in their diet. If this is the case, you are going to see little results.

Yes, if you do something your body is not used to doing, it will adapt and results will come of it. But, if you really push your body as hard as possible when you first start, you could see too many changes including torn muscles or tendons, muscle distortions, stress fractures, etc... Not so exciting, is it?

The best advice is to forget trying to see overnight results or you are going to get hurt or frustrated and quit working out all together. If it took your whole life to get your body in the shape that it is in, just be happy that it won't nearly take you as long to get back in to shape.

My clients look at progress, rather than how much progress. Yes, it is great to have abundance of results that come quick, but progress is better than no progress at all. If progress is not being seen, adjustments are made and that is what I push for. Everyone has different results based on their metabolism, so the results you see Bo making may not happen for everyone.

Put it this way, if your comparing yourself to someone who lost a lot of weight very quickly, you have to model everything their body consists of to get the same results including their biological makeup with the exact genetic makeup before you have to worry about eating the same exact foods, completing the same exercises with the same intensity, work at the same job, sleep at the same time, etc...

If you want to know what works for you, talk to a professional personal trainer who has the experience and has helped someone with your same characteristics. I have openings in my schedule to work with those in need, so email me at AdamFreemanPT@yahoo.com to see what fitness prescription I would advise for you.

I wish you all the very best and Happy Training!
