I am training for a marathon and cross training with swimming. I'm coming here from your original blog and also your wife's. I am excited to see what I can learn from this blog. I am going to school to become a nurse but want to also become a certified trainer. Any advice on where to start?

Definitely,

I would say the best place to start is checking out all the certifications online and see which would best fit your journey. Depending on what style of training or type of client you want to attract, depends on the cert that you get.

As a trainer who has seen the type of trainers who stand out above the rest, I would highly suggest you getting certified through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). You can check out their site online at: www.nasm.org

I hope this helps and I wish you the very best in your marathon training.

God Bless,

Adam
